It began with the launch of the first ever iPhone in 2007. Steve Job had a dream of providing the users with a revolutionary product which is capable of running Desktop Applications. And that dream became true with the iPhone iOS which is now known as iOS 11.
The change in Apple’s operating system is as much as that of change in its hardware. The main drawback in the iOS 1 or better known as iPhone iOS was that it wasn’t supporting the native application. Apart from that, there were not any games in that iOS.
This issue was further solved with the launch of iPhone SDK in July 2008. Where Apple launched its store with over 500 Applications and a free update to iOS 2. It provided the users with a lot of features. Apple made an announcement at that time,
“With the free iPhone 2.0 Software Update, your iPhone does even more. Extend its capabilities with innovative applications you download directly from the new App Store. Get push email, calendar, and contacts from your Microsoft Exchange server at work. And use great new features in Mail, Contacts, and other applications.”
And since then, the company never looked back.
